A sustainable alternative

From the very beginning, Mon Col Anvers wanted to offer a stylish and sustainable alternative to fast fashion. Why buy a dress to wear to just one party if you can choose for a piece of clothing you can wear to different occasions and adapt according to your mood and personal style?

Fabrics

We carefully select our fabrics and only work with natural materials. We pick the most sustainable materials such as organic cotton, tencel and EcoVero and have the necessary certificates (OEKO-Tex, GOTS, FSC,...). 

The inks used for the prints contain no chemicals and are REACH certified (Regulation on Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals).

Production

Each piece in the Mon Col collection is designed in Belgium and produced in Poland and Portugal. This way the amount of transportation is minimal and the working environment is under European Social law.

Recycle

Lookbooks, tags and correspondence are all printed on recycled paper and we reuse our boxes as much as possible. We pack our clothing in water soluble bags. These bags dissolve in hot water (80°C or above) within a few minutes, also in cold water at a slower rate. The bags are also biodegradable if they end up in a landfill.
